An Elevated Approach to Luxury Weddings
THE ABP EXPERIENCE

Hey, my name is

I started Ashlie Ballou Photography as a 22-year-old single mom with a secondhand camera, little to no sleep, & very little faith that I could make it work. Over time, that tiny dream grew. Eventually, I married my husband, Jesse, who jumped in beside me—turning ABP into a husband-and-wife team that truly understands what it means to show up for people on their biggest days. At its core, ABP has always been about one thing: telling your story honestly, beautifully, and without pressure.
This isn’t about perfect poses or Pinterest checklists.
It’s about preserving the way it felt.

WHAT WE SPECIALIZE IN:
Recently, a bride told me something I’ve never forgotten.
When she received her gallery, she said it felt like she got to relive her wedding day all over again — not just how it looked, but how it felt. The nerves, the joy, the quiet moments, the big ones. She said the photos brought all of it back.
That has been my favorite compliment to this day.
Since then, that’s become the entire point of what we do.
ABP specializes in capturing weddings in a way that lets you step right back into the moment — images that hold emotion, movement, and meaning, not just poses. We focus on real interactions, honest expressions, and the in-between moments that often matter most.
Our approach is documentary at heart, with gentle direction when it helps things feel natural and relaxed. That means your day is captured as it unfolds — with guidance when you need it and space when you don’t.
The goal isn’t just beautiful photos — it’s opening your gallery years later and feeling everything you felt that day, all over again.

The ABP Experience:
Working with ABP isn’t about following a rigid checklist or forcing moments to happen. It’s about creating space for you to be fully present, knowing everything is being taken care of.
Before your wedding day, we help you feel prepared without feeling overwhelmed. We talk through timelines, family photos, and expectations so you’re not guessing or stressing. You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do — that part is on us.
On the wedding day itself, our goal is simple: to make things feel calm and natural. Jesse and I work together seamlessly, stepping in with direction when it’s helpful and stepping back when a moment deserves to unfold on its own. We’re there for the quiet nerves, the big emotions, and everything in between — without ever making it feel forced.
After the day is over, the story continues. Your gallery is hand-edited with intention, focused on emotion, color, and honesty. Not trendy. Not overdone. Just true to your day. Something you can come back to and feel all over again.
The experience shouldn't end when the wedding does — it should live on in the way you remember it.

Who We’re For
(and What Luxury Means to Us):
ABP is for couples who care about being present on their wedding day, while also receiving the posed images that matter & candid images that flow.
You trust your vendors. You want to enjoy your day instead of performing for the camera. And you understand that the most meaningful moments usually happen in between the perfectly planned ones.
To us, luxury isn’t about excess or perfection — it’s about the small things that truly matter. It’s education, preparation, and realistic expectations. It’s knowing what wedding photography actually looks like on a real wedding day, not just in styled shoots or highlight reels.
We help you understand the flow of the day, what moments deserve space, and where to slow down so you can actually experience them. We set honest expectations, so nothing feels rushed, forced, or disappointing later on.
Luxury is feeling taken care of.
Luxury is calm guidance when you need it.
Luxury is trusting that someone is watching the moments you didn’t even realize were happening.
If that sounds like the kind of experience you want, we’re probably a really good fit.

THERE's A MOMENT ON EVERY WEDDING DAY.

A deep exhale before walking down the aisle. A squeeze of the hand during vows. A quiet laugh in between the chaos.
This is where ABP lives.
